Motive for Murder
Motive for Murder is the first in a new series of original mysteries featuring Erica Coleman, the gifted and quirky private investigator with OCD tendencies that both charm and annoy those around her. When a man is shot and killed at her best friend’s house, Erica Coleman begins the search for the killer. She displays her obsessive compulsive nature by reorganizing Wendy’s cupboards, wiping down the car each time she drives, making square pancakes, and a host of other actions: all aimed at keeping her life, and the lives of those around her, as neat and tidy as possible. Along the way, Erica cooks up a storm (ten wonderful recipes are included), and gnaws on chocolate, which helps her think. With its intricate plot and engaging characters, Motive for Murder is a highly entertaining mystery.
Charade is the second exciting mystery/romance in the Erica Coleman series. When Blanche Coleman, wealthy matriarch of Sun Coast, a large family company is poisoned, Erica Coleman sets out to find out who is responsible, even when it means raising the hackles of nearly everyone in the family. She must also investigate the family business, and discovers a family member has caused problems. With an authentic, accurate setting in Florence, Oregon, you’ll be enthralled as Erica not only investigates, but cooks up a storm, (ten tested recipes are included), and displays OCD, which both hinder and help her investigation. The ending has a surprise twist that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
